30 years of supplying catering expertise to the industry

In April 2007 Caterware celebrated 30 years of business. The Company was established in 1977 by Bernard Drazen. Today his son Mark, the Caterware Managing Director, continues the work of providing state of the art commercial catering equipment and top notch kitchen design and service to the catering industry.

With an initial staff of four, Caterware opened our first offices in Thornton, near Blackpool. By 1994, the company has grown to 53 people and moved to custom built premises at Welbeck Avenue. We are proud that several members of staff have been with the company for almost 20 years because it is this stability combined with the ability to embrace new technologies that has ensured our continued success.

Over the last 30 years Caterware has continuously evolved and is now one of the UK’s top catering equipment distributors. Understanding the needs of our customers is paramount, from writing detailed product specifications for both kitchen schemes to tableware/utensil requirements to ensuring the equipment we supply matches the design and operational needs of each client.

Always innovative and employing professional and committed people we formed strong business relationships in the early years. These relationships are still significant to our operations today whilst new business generation is helping to ensure growth.

With continuous growth and ongoing changes over three decades, Caterware has proven a long-term success story in professional catering supply, winning major awards in the industry. Our ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of professional assistance to our customers has led us to create a dedicated network of service engineers to ensure the equipment we sell stays in "tip top health", and even to us launching online shopping.
