Carluccios
We were approached by Alison Shaw (Development Manager) from Carluccios with what seemed like an extremely tall order, they had the opportunity of opening an outlet at St Christophers Place, London, and because of the time of year, asked if we could turn the contract round in 36 hours.
After long deliberation and strategy meetings we agreed we could achieve this, we contacted the various companies involved and carried out the contract as follows:
Thurs 20 Dec – 7pmth … We were handed over the site following the departure of the existing tenant. We then disconnected the existing equipment and removed from site. The equipment to be reused was sent away for deep cleaning, service and testing.
Friday 21 Dec – 1pmst …We had by now re-routed all the necessary services and made good, working alongside the main contractor who had re-plastering and tiling to complete. We delivered the Angelo Po cantilever island suite into the basement kitchen. We had had the equipment delivered on overnight from Italy on the Thurs hoping that everything we required would be there.
Saturday 22 4.30pmnd …We installed all the equipment ready for a live test and secured a successful handover by 6.30pm.to a massive sigh of relief and praise from our client. Our engineers are to be praised for the tireless work they did on this project working staggered 12 hour shifts to meet the deadline, along with cooperation from the main contractor and the deliveries, a somewhat challenging and unusual project which we are proud to have achieved.
